Who am I?
I am a conductor, composer, musicologist, reviewer and music-lover, particularly interested in the Renaissance Master Pierre de la Rue. I have conducted many of la Rue's works and completed this edition in September, 2020
Pierre de la Rue
was one of the first 'great' composers. La Rue developed a style that was subtly different to that of his contemporaries, and wrote music in all of the important genres of his time. Much of la Rue's music has not previously been available to choral directors and ensembles, but that will now hopefully change with my 'complete' performing edition of the Master's music being made generally available.
